Hello there guys!

I have recently purchased the Apollo twin solo and connected it via thunderbolt to my mac Mini and my DAW is Logic Pro X. I am experiencing serious latency problems when recording. The monitoring output comes out at Real time but the final recorded track is completely out of time. Any ideas???

Tkx for the help

I'm a PT guy, but occasionally use Logic. Have you watched the Apollo/Logic setup video yet? Gannon does a great job with them and they cut to the chase to get you setup quickly and correctly.

Setting Up Apollo Interfaces w/ Logic Pro - Blog - Universal Audio

Barring that you have any unique routing in the UA Console going on that might cause this, and assuming that you have a Vanilla install...Experience, in general, tells me that you might need to check your buffer settings.

- I/O Buffer Size (as low you can go for recording, like 32,64, or 128 and higher; 256, 512, or 1024 when mixing)
- Process Buffer Range (This can tax system resources. But, this setting, like the the I/O buffer size should be set to small when tracking if your Mini has the horsepower for it. I've never tracked with or used a Mac Mini in my workflow, so I can't speak from experience on whether or not a Mini, or your config, has the oomph to select "small".)

I opened up Logic X and if you haven't set your Buffer settings you should check what I highlighted in the image.

Hello Forza, tkxs very much for the answer. My english is very bad sorry.

I forgot to mention that I had these problems only with the guitar / bass input and not with the mic input ( XLR ) input.
My setting are exactly the same as you...
and i don't use any plug in whit this input....

I really begins to despair

How far out of time are your recordings?

Do a loopback test using a rendered Klopfgeist pulse and record the results on a separate track. If it is out by samples, then adjust your recording delay in the audio preferences.
