How about Console 3 for Firewire???

I think at this point us Firewire users that were like forgotten children when Console 2 first came out, deserve something special that Thunderbolt users don't get with Console 2! I'm not quite sure what that should be but
maybe we should come up with some ideas! Come on Firewire users, post your desires here!

1- I would like it if when I link 2 Apollo channels together I could insert a Stereo insert of the Fender 55 instead of using up an Aux to get the job done!

2-?

I have a FW macbook pro and Apogee interface gathering dust in my closet after I acquired a TB Macbook pro and TB Apollo and Octo Sat to get on the UAD TB bus - that just wouldn't be fair. If FW users get Console 3 features first then those who switched to TB should get Console 3.5 then (Fender 55 stereo WITH Unison enabled integrated Fender reverb spring box) :)

Hehe, funny idea :) To be honest, I would be satisfied with even less. Bugfix Console 1.0 to finally support flawless and reliable cascading (FW) operation on Windows. Or Console 1.1 featuring something which is around for quiet a while (Thunderbolt on windows, pssssst, it's possible and it works, ask RME!) enabling cascading performance. I think Console 1.0 is around long enough. If they don't manage to continue promised developement and don't communicate - what about finally meeting the advertised features of Console 1.0 (cascading)? No? mh .... :-(
