I think the 8200 in particular would be the most useful for me... but all 3 of these would be wonderful to have.

Did Relab ever finish their 480?

Is that some sort of sarcasm simulator? That sounds like a GREAT idea.

Wouldn't '480 be cutting it a bit too close to harman's current lexi plugs?

I'd consider the delay side of a the PCM80- (pans, diffusion, filters, mods oh my ...grins

I thought relab had the 480L down, but it doesn't look so anymore, he also didn't price it right. Maybe UA needs to start bringing out less expensive plugs that model less complex hardware for shorter development cycles?

    I don't think they can keep releasing $200 - $350 dollar plugs.

    Completely disagree here, sorry.
The ReLab LX480 thing smells of being stopped by Lexicon to me. Also, if it had appeared in it's promised config, $500 is certainly not too expensive.
Also, UAD are not too expensive at $200-$350 either, IMHO - not when you consider the relative costs of the hardware, and the fact that most of it is unavailable - and even if you can find second hand units you can only use one of the little hummers at a time!
Seriously sorry, but I just do not understand this "too expensive" thing when you consider what you actually get!
