yes Relab LX480 is the perfect Lex 480

Agreed, Relab is the next best thing to a 480. The downside is there is no installer, updates are non-existant, and support is pretty lackluster. A small price to pay for what is certainly the best reverb of its' type though.

Still, if Lex gave the license to UA they'd get their piece, and we could get a verb of equal quality with proper support and updates (and DSP usability).

Relab is Martin Lind. He started out porting over Lexicon algorithms to the Pulsar/Scope DSP cards back in 2001. He then ported a dumbed down native version (only because computers were so weak back then), which is IK Multimedia's Classik Studio Reverb. Basically, we're talking about a guy who's spent the last 15 years completely focused on Lexicon reverbs, that's why he's done such a good job.

By the way, it might be interesting to note that Mr. Lind has posted on this forum occasionally. He posts under the name "Warp69" I believe - same name that he uses at the Relab website. When I realized that he was the same "Warp69" I sent him a message to congratulate him on a fine reverb.

AAX is in beta, I have it and it works or run relab in blue cat audio plugs ( mixer/patch) as a skin; works perfectly.

Except AAX and additional algorithms - the 480L have quite a number (18+) of algorithms with the two expansion cards - 11 of them related to reverberation
Hi Martin,

Is it true that you were also part of the development team for the Bricasti M7? Do you have any of that technology in your the 480L? If not, do you plan to do anything in the future with it?

does that mean, you will include additional algorithms in an upcoming version of your lx480 plug-in? that would be incredible.
