What's a Precision Mix Rack?
There's nothing on the site I can find, other than that it comes with 8.2 for free

About the Precision Mix Rack Collection
- As of UAD v8.2, the Precision Mix Rack Collection plug-ins (Precision Channel Strip, Precision Delay Mod, Precision Delay Mod Long, Precision Reflection Engine) replace the discontinued EX-1, DM-1, DM-1L, and RS-1 plug-ins, respectively.
- When sessions containing the discontinued EX-1, DM-1, DM-1L, and RS-1 plug-ins are loaded in UAD v8.2 (and higher), the discontinued plug-ins, and their settings and presets, are automatically migrated to their newer Precision Mix Rack Collection replacements.
- For additional details about migrating the discontinued plug-ins from earlier UAD versions, see the “CS-1 Channel Strip” chapter in the UAD Plug-Ins Manual.
- Complete documentation for all plug-ins in the Precision Mix Rack Collection is available in the UAD Plug-Ins Manual.
Don't think it's free, it simply says what's new in v8.2. We'll probably see a launch for the v8.2 and the new Precision Mix Rack later today!

I'm confused... I already tred out the demo of the new 88rs... which is listed as a feature of 8.2? Was that new in 8.1? Not new anymore, yeah?....
Anyway, it does say "Now includes FREE precision mix rack" in the graphic banner.
EDIT: I guess this is a new version with a couple of bugs fixed, and those basic strip plugins updated to new "Precision" versions.
...but the ad graphics are still 88rs and Marshall Plexi.
I'll take it!

So this is made by Brainworx? If I google for it the first hit is a splice page with the title "UAD Precision Mix Rack by Plugin Alliance".

Also from the new plugin manual it states improved sonics in addition to interface/features:
"The Precision Mix Rack Collection provides a modern interface, better controls,
added features, and improved sonics versus the prior CS-1 sub-module

Hey all,
Glad you're digging the new Precision Mix Rack Collection. We hope it's going to be a nice *free* addition to everyone's toolbox.
We looked at the CS-1 and thought it would be much easier to take advantage of it it were broken down into individual plug-ins. We also took the time to look under the rocks and made a bunch of improvements so they look and sound great. Overall, they are much easier to use now and with the added features like true ping-pong delay in the delays, we hope you get a lot of utility out of them.
We did these in-house and the compatibility hasn't changed except for the addition of Cubase 8, Nuendo 7 and Pro Tools 12. The details are covered in the Release Notes.

Thanks for doing this! I have to admit that one of the reasons I never used the CS-1 was because of the GUI, just couldn't stand it. And I'm pleased to hear that there's also improvements under the hood!
I hope that Realverb gets the same treatment.
