Hey, really nice work! You have some very cool things going on production wise and the different guitar parts work very well together. Ok, my turn... what are you using for the guitars?

as for the guitars, this song is a bit of a departure for me, as most of my stuff is more rock oriented and has more distorted guitars etc.... but here's what i did for this song;
4 acoustic tracks
2 with a taylor 214ce.....panned hard left and right. One was mic'ed with a lateen audio atlantis mic. the other was mic'ed with a rode NTR ribbon mic.
2 with a taylor 355 12 string......panned at about 9 and 3. One was mic'ed with the atlantis and one with the rode.
the electrics were done with a schuffham amps plug in all set on the "duke" amp, which is his take on the dumble. I have a couple of tracks just coming in on the choruses and bridge to provide a bit of depth. I also have a track or maybe two, I would have to look again, that has some leslie/rotary effect going on to provide some extra color during those sections. the solo was also done on the duke with a rotary effect on it.
guitars used were a american deluxe strat, mercian deluxe tele and a rickenbacker 330.
I normally mic up all my electric guitars, but in a song like this where the acoustics are out front and the electrics are more in the background for added depth, I am ok with using software.
the bass was an american deluxe precision done with the UAD ampeg b-15n plug in.
