I've just bought another plugin, downloaded and updated a new auth file - expired demos didn't reset..

    Re: New UA Demo Policy!

Thanks UA, I just purchased the waves KMT plug in for $79. Because I couldn't demo the ATR again after
demoing it when it first came out. Only plug that remained expired all this time. But you saved me
$229 bucks and for that I'm grateful.
    Peace,
    Kevin

how does one go about doing a "manual reset" on demos if you're supposed to have 3 goes for free? i've made 2 purchases since having my new satellite octo and got demo resets after each purchase but now it seems i don't have any left. i definitely haven't manually reset them at any time though..

You'll need to contact UA Customer Service at this point, I believe.

Not to be mean or anything but if you think you saved $229.00 by buying the Kramer you've lost your mind! You just threw away $79.00
The Kramer in no way can complete with the Atr-102 and Waves knows it. Why do you think its $79.00 ? Now The Waves SSL collection is another story, you don't see that on the cheap cause its very, very good! You should have just called Customer service and they would have given you another demo!

Agreed. It simply can't compare to the UAD Ampex.
I have to admit that I like the J37 though. But more as a distortion unit rather than a tape emulation.
