Console functions and routing limited in Cascade Mode by unit A

First of all let me give you a little background info so you can see where my conundrum is.

I work in 3 different studios, one of them being my house. Before today I owned only an Apollo 8p, which is mounted on a 4 spaces rack and comes along with me when I move from studio to studio.
Yesterday I bought an Twin MKII to become my home studio talkback, and monitors controller, functions that up to day were handled by a Presonus Monitor station (the other studios have an SPL monitors controller with a private cue system).

Normally i would set up the 8p to play the stereo mix out of 1-2 (which went to the Presonus) and assigned the remaining outs to separate CUE mixes which are sent to the headphones distribution system.

By buying the Twin MKII I was hoping at home I would have been able to use the 4 outs to controller my 2 sets of speakers while using a pair of outputs on the 8P to send to the headphone amp. In this way when I migrate from studio to studio i could have just left the Twin sitting on my desk with the monitors plugged in without having to deal with plugging and unplugging the wiring. ...... but that's apparently not possible to do.

When you are in Cascade mode the first unit in the cascade dictates the monitors and CUEs functionality in Console.

As you can see from these 2 pictures (TWIN as unit A in the first and 8p as a unit A in the second) the whole CUE system is different, therefore when the Twin leads the pack I can't assign the CUEs to physical outs, I can only dictates what comes out of my 3 headphone jacks.... and of course if the APollo8p is Unit A I won't be able to use the Twin outputs to for the monitors.

Bottom line the top unit on the cascade is the one that needs to have the Monitors plugged in and control the CUEs, you can't mix and match the outputs maintaining full functionality of each Apollo in the Cascade.

Also another thing I noticed is that the Twin as much as it can control monitors volume and all their functions while being number 2 in the cascade, the Twin knob will only control the 2 Mic/Line ins that are present on the Twin, you can't cycle trough and control the other 8 mic/line in levels in the 8P, so you either have to do it via Console or reach over and grab the 8P knob to set levels.

so, ...I don't know if there are any workaround that I might have missed, if you know, please share.
If you don't, ...well maybe we can get UA to do some changes with the next Console update, ... unless for some physical reason which I'm not aware off, monitoring and CUE system is limited to the first unit in the cascade.

PS forgive my imperfect English grammar and punctuation ....this is not exactly my first language.

AlexR: Hey man, I have had a similar issue in my studio. Was planning on using the Twin Duo for another set of monitor controls to plug right into the patchbay, I had to open up an increased number of tracks in the Cascade options menu. I wonder if building an aggregate device in the Audio Midi Setup would help? I was able to route my talkback that way and it opened up the option for the two separate headphone outs on the 8p. I get into trouble w the cue system routing when trying to run a signal out for reamping with my Twin. Shows up as 3/4 out in my DAW, but no physical output from the lines. I ended up routing through my headphone out... kinda defeats having an extra set of line outs, a big reason I purchased the Twin in the first place.

I run Pro-Tools so aggregated devices is not exactly supported...
