    UAD Plugin Mover

    Hi guys,

    This application is still being regularly updated

    For the latest update info please look the the last post towards the end of this thread.

    Windows Only - Sorry.

    What it does:
    • With a single click this tool will organise your UAD plugins into separate folders (which can be customised). 32 and/or 64 bit.
      It supports all plugins past and future (You can add new plugins to the list in the .ini file).
      Mono plugins and Novation Automap plugins will also be moved if they exist. (See [FILTERS])
      Windows Only - Sorry.

    Example in Cubase 5:

    Cubase 7:

    The preset folders are:

    Amp
    Channel
    Dynamics
    EQ
    Modulation
    Tools
    Precision
    Reverb
    Nigel

    You can easily assign your own folder names to any plugin.

    Full instructions are in the manual which is accessed after installation. Also you may see the post towards the end of this thread for the latest version info.

    Cheers.

    UAD Plugin Mover - Updated July 9, 2013

    New version uploaded.

    It is now much easier to add new plugins and assign them to folders.

    Basically in the uadmove.ini file each plugin contains one line:

    The plugin number in the list
    The plugin name (no .dll)
    The folder you wish that plugin to be moved to

    Number=PLUGIN/FOLDER

    For example:

    Code:
    48=UAD Roland RE-201/Modulation
    49=UAD RS-1/Reverb
    50=UAD SPL Transient Designer/Other
    51=UAD VCA VU/Compressor
    52=END
    This means that you can now easily add new plugins and assign them to folders without having to type everything twice etc.

    Old and new plugin path can now be the same. A local copy is made to work from which is then deleted.

    UAD Plugin Mover - Updated July 9, 2013

    Final update added filters for Novation Automap and ability to customise filters.

    Filters:
    You can add any extra "filters" to the uadmove.ini file
    Filters are extensions that are added to the plugin name. For example "(m)" for the UAD mono
    plugins. " (Automap)" for Novation Automap wrapped plugins (note the space before the bracket).
    etc.
    If the plugin name does not exist it will be skipped so don't worry about editing this unless you need
    to add more filters.
    • Each filter must be spelled exactly as it appears after the plugin name.
      Each filter must be the next number in sequence.
      Make sure that "END" is the very last item in this list.

    UAD Plugin Mover - Updated July 9, 2013

    1.05 Final:

    Fixed problem with files not being copied. In Vista the new folders are created automatically. In XP it seems not.
    Also added more accurate counter to display number of plugins copied and moved messages to be more appropriate.

    This will be final release of this little tool.

    Admin feel free to sticky if you think it is useful.

    The link was down for about 6 minutes as I was just updating the application to 1.06 Final.

    App now runs in elevated mode so that files can be successfully copied if UAC is active.
    New link added to first post.
