Will we ever See a Lexicon 480L UAD2 Plugin

Hi Im New to UAD and to this Forum.

    Like Most i'm a Bedroom Guy...so i've limited High-end Studio experience

I've no idea how Most UAD Hardware emulations Sound in real life.

    except the 480L from lexicon

Convolution is great for realism of an actual real life Acoustic space and u can Sample Hardware reverbs
but the editing is limited u cannot really edit a Lexicon 480L IR u have to switch to another IR that is close to what u want
and unfortunately its a Static snapshot. IR do not replicate Modulation at all

Nearly Every High-End Studio has an SSL console with a Lexicon 480L controller on top

Thing is in the 480L was good enough for Everything that came out since the 80ies

i Know that Relab Makes the LX480 plugin And i assume that Lexicon's most expensive reverb bundle(PCM native Reverb) contains 480L stufff

but I would prefer DSP reverb over Native.

I would have my Mac's CPU Handle the audio Tracks and have a Guaranteed number of 480L instances no matter how many tracks their are

I'm sure the other UAD2 Reverbs are great(haven't tried).

so For my first UAD forum Post i would like to request a 480L UAD-2 plugin

Until recently, I also wished for an UAD Lexicon 480 plugin, but I don't have that wish anymore now that I have Relab LX480. It's not just an emulation, to me it's like having a real Lexicon 480 in the box, it's that good! Together with my other reverb plugins (most of the UAD reverbs, Acon Digital verberate, Audio Ease Altiverb 7 and Relab VSR S24) I think I'm pretty much all set when it comes to reverb.

If you are really looking for that Lexicon 480 sound, Relab LX480 is your ticket!

I've never experienced the Lexicon 480, but man I sure love my UA Lexicon 224! Someone once told me the 480 was like having 2 Lex 224's in the same box? Is this true?

I think the Lexicon 960 was like a pair of 480's, I can't imagine that the 480 is like a pair of 224's. The 224 and 480 are miles a part to my ears, but I might be wrong nonetheless.

Like I said I don't know cause I've never experienced one but your probably right since 480 X 2=960!

I tried to replicate the JAZZ HALL preset from the L480 (in order to avoid buying the plugin) with all UAD REVERB i have, Lexicon reverb bundle, IK reverbs....etc

impossible, even tried to trick these reverbs using some plugins before/after but NO WAY, the sound is not the same

the richness of the reverb, and the way it ends (magic) its like goes nowhere, and thats got me mad that no other plugin can do this..

before my annual subscription ends, I was eligible to got the SLAT new REVERB, and this preset was implemented already, I tried it, it was I nice approach, but against the Relab L480, to my ears was like having a copy, not the original.

when I saw the price of the L480 goes down, I canceled my subscription, and went for the Relab as I already have the VMT, VCC, FG 73/76.

I find Relab just has a special presence in the way it envelopes the original signal?

I'm pretty sure we'll see a 480L from UA, endorsed by Lexicon and probably better sounding than the L480 (which is already good). Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the MKII version of the 224 is the 224X.
