Apollo 8 and twin linked ok?

So my Apollo 8 quad will be arriving over the next 48 hours, is it worth linking with my twin duo? or just best to use the 8Quad?
will it make any difference using both? or just extra i/o?

Many thanks again for everyones input.

If your Twin is the Thunderbolt version (per your sig) then linking them is definitely the way to go.

More i/o but also you can control the volume of the monitor outputs on the 8 with the volume knob on the Twin ... and the mute/dim/TB buttons all work through the outputs of the 8 as well.

6 Unison pres as well if linked - that does a drum kit comfortably.
