13 slot magma driving me crazy! Help please...

Hi all

My newly (ebay) purchased 13 slot magma chassis keeps playing funny tricks. Every 20 mn or so it will go offline, sometimes forcing me to hard reboot the g5.

MAGMA tech support could only tell me it might be a hardware problem with either the host card, cable or expansion card. That doesn't really help!

Do you guys have any clue? OSX does see the host card in slot3. It also sees another pci-bridge in slot \"7x4\" (the chassis card?!?). But it does no connection to any of the 4 UAD-1 installed in the chassis.

I must say the cable doesn't look perfect. It looks like it has been somehow twisted just past one end. It doesn't look too bad either though...

Maybe thats why they sold it?
I know this isn't any help but to put your hard earned $$ into something like that on ebay (I've heard nothing but bad things about buying off ebay) seems like a wrong move...
Will Magma even support a 3rd party purchaser? These exact reasons are why I always wait and purchase new instead of cutting corners.
