1st. Thanks for providing LUNA for Windows.

2nd. How does LUNA search for 3rd Party VSTs?

I've downloaded and opened a Demo track (Mission - Moon Taxi) and although I have some of the plug-ins listed in the project - LUNA doesn't find them.

I should add that I have RUN UAConnect as Admin.

LUNA Sessions were made with Audio Units and therefore it's expected that the plugins won't load.

You can delete this file and LUNA will rescan.

Well That was a very speedy reply - Thanks Drew.

So I did deleted that file, Quit the UA Connect and Luna App, - Restarted and I could watch as LUNA scanned a load of my plugins - but still managed to miss the FabFilter and Soundtoys stuff. (and possibly others)

In the DAW I usually use I can specify where to look to find the plug-ins

C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Soundtoys

I noticed It did recreate the file you asked me to delete.

Be sure to submit your findings as Feedback in-app.

Thanks!

Ah .... I misunderstood - because I don't know what 'Audio Units' mean

Question? What do 'Audio Units' mean?

I was merely looking at the errors when loading, Once I tried to insert my Soundtoys plug-in into the project. it works...

So apologies a lack of knowledge about 'Audio Units' on my part.

Audio Units is a Mac only plugin format.

that is the path where VST2 plugins are installed but not VST3

please check your vst3 directory which is by default:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

and have a look whats in there, you should see fabfilter there as well, if not, please reinstall your fabfilter plugins and check VST3 plugin format during installation
