I really am beginning to wonder just how feasible it would be to run UA's plugs Native. It's hard to tell just how much of a hit there would be. The biggest problem for UA is that they make more money staying with the Hardware cuz as soon as they announce the Native plugs, there will be cracks up on the web two minutes later.

Stealing software is RAMPANT in Georgia. I have met so many people who are using cracked software and they have ZERO shame. I had no idea how bad it was. I was like the ONLY guy who wasn't using any stolen software. The guys who I work with in lower Georgia all pay for their software, thank God, but when I go out to Atlanta...

I just don't think any other form of Copy protection really works. DSP is airtight!!! So as much as I would LOVE Native versions, I know that i'll probably NEVER see them.

Looks cool, but personally wouldn't buy the new mac pro now. Why?
Well for at least two reason:

1- Logic and OSX are not(yet) optimized for multi cores.

2- There are two upcoming tecnologies supported by intel next gen processors due to this coming fall/winter. DD3 which is going to be more than twice as fast as the current mac pro DDR2 667 and PCI express 2.0, also two times faster than the current pci express. My G5 feels a bit underpowered lately, but i guess i'll have to wait 1 more year or so..

Sure you won't have any "running out of juice" issues for a couple of years, but a computer won't help your music to sound better. Hi end converters/pres WILL make your music sound great!
