So like many of us who have studios in our bedrooms for years, I've always struggled with good mixes. Although I am still a hack, I'm now a much better hack with all the great tools like my Apollo's, UA plugs, Luna and most importantly Slate VSX!
I've posted this song sometime back but I've been working on honing my skills and thought I'd see what you all think of the 'new & improved' version. One area I really need work on is a 'pro' balance when it comes to adding reverb & delay on a lead vocal, so if you have any solid tutorials or YouTube training please let me know.
This is a song a guitar player guy I know wrote and of course he played all those parts, my roles were; producer, recording dude, mixer and singer.
I'm into honing my skills so if you have any input/feedback please, I welcome it.
