Accidentally deleted the Uninstaller. Now I can't uninstall all data.

I'm having an issue with having my new Mac recognize my interface (see my previous post). I was going throught the process to uninstall everything and reinstall for the second time. I got ahead of myself thinking I remembered how to do everything, and essentially deleted the entire UAD folder, including the uninstaller.

I proceeded through everything anyways (including deleting all the files found within Preferences) and reinstalled UA Connect, but when I go to install the "UAD Software Installer" it says that it is corrupted. I think this is due to not uninstalling properly.

Is there a way to download just the uninstaller? The software is not in my UAD folder anywhere in my Applications.

Edit: One other thing to note is after I have deleted everything (including all apps and files in preferences) when i reinstall, the "UAD Software Installer" says "install" instead of download. This leads me to believe not everything is fully deleting without the Uninstaller.

I am having this exact issue as well and would love to find a solution! @UniversalAudio

I guess I would download the same version, reinstall it over the top of the existing, and then use the reinstalled uninstaller…

@Neotrope it didn't.

I was told to delete 11.4 + download the 11.3 version, and now the console/meter apps don't open/crash. Now it's being sent to a specialist.

To help with asked question, " I can't uninstall all data "

Please move with caution in this, READ FIRST :::::::: It has worked for us, but with so many different setups, we can only
say that if in dire, why not give this a try as well. Our hardware - Apollo 8 Quad 4 ( MBP 2021 16 inch M1 Max - Sonoma )
Some area's to check for deletion before reinstall.
Applications/Universal Audio <<<< delete app
User/Library/preferences/com.uaudio <<<< delete Every .plist starting with this.
Now in the same .plist area, scroll to the bottom of the list, and close to the bottom is a
Universal Audio FOLDER. <<<< delete Entire Folder.
Now shut off computer and wait around 10 seconds and reboot. Some of these files may rebuild themselves
after rebooting, so again wait about a minute after rebooting. NOTE: preferences on Console may be lost, so
backup FIRST, this entire folder located at users/documents/Universal Audio, which has IOPresets and
Sessions Folders in it. Save them in a different location, say like in the publics folder or desktop, that if necessary,
these two Folders, IOPresets and Sessions Folders can be put back, removing the news just added.
Follow UA instructions on installing with your setup.
Now try to reinstall, but reinstall with Hardware On, everything plugged up and on.
This has worked for us in the past. If still no go, do the same again, but also look here for files to delete,
user/documents/ Universal Audio <<<< Entire Folder,,,, if it's there. This is the Folder mentioned to backup 1st.
user/Application Support/ Universal Audio <<<< Entire Folder,,,, if it's there.
Macintosh HD/Application Support/ Universal Audio <<<< Entire Folder,,,, if it's there.

So here are almost all area we found that could be deleted, if not all that we have altered in our challenges to get back up and running.

These instructions are for Universal Audio only, and are Not Including UA Connect or any ILok uninstalls or installs.

One other side note: Deleting var logging. This is not necessary in helping here in any way, except for cleaning, deleting these logs which we do
every now and then, but it's really not necessary. How to Find var ,
  1. In Finder, open up your Macintosh HD folder.
  2. Press Command+Shift+Dot.
  3. Your hidden files will become visible. Repeat step 2 to hide them again!

doesn't work. Just keeps coming back saying Software installer already installed. Any help on getting rid of this would be greatly appreciated.

I would raise a support ticket - presumably support can furnish you with the installer package that contains the uninstalled you need to clear down your installation.

Hi there!
Helped a friend with this same issue, made the following:
Worked for us! (Well, maybe those steps can be optimized, such as copying just the uninstaller may be enough, or instead installing everything maybe there is a way to extract only the uninstaller from the pkg file... I dunno... but at least it worked, which is the important part of all of this).

Hope this help somebody :)
