ADAT Trouble

Hey there, I’m trying to connect my Presonus 1824c interface to my Apollo Twin through ADAT. I’m getting signal in console, but the signal from one channel is coming across all 8 ADAT channels. I would obviously like to have everything separated on their own channel. Both interfaces are clocked to one another at 48 kHz. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks!

Do you have the twin set to adat for the optical port? It supports both adat and s/pdif over optical. I’ve never tried whether audio will pass if the wrong protocol is selected though.

I think it's likely that there's a setting in the Universal Control (assuming that's what's used for the routing) that's incorrect.
Normally, you need to create 4 stereo mixes sent to the pairs of ADAT outs - each with only their corresponding analog input having the faders up.
