adding a tc powercore

hiya
i have one uad pci card in a dual 2.5 g5 running a metric halo firewire soundard . i'd like to add a tc works powercore in some form .
i understand that if i go for a pci version then it will compete with the uad card for space in the pci bus and if i use the firewire version the same will be true for the soundcard on the firewire bus . can anybody help me understand this better or suggest what might be the best option for me in terms of max performance from both dsp thingies ?

I'd say you'd be fine with the PCI option. Although it might be an idea to check out this and the powercore forum if anyone has reported problems with that kind of setup, but I can't recall seeing any.
