Hi

Thought I'd try my UAD-1 card in another computer but after installing the software and then the card the computer wont come on. I tried a different pci slot but all that happens is the computer lights come on but it wont completely boot??

The second computer is (like the first) running XP Pro

Cheers

sounds like neither pci slot you tried were standard (old-school) 32bit+33mhz slots
That sounds interesting Dan. It's a brand new computer that the boss has just put in the studio. He's away for the week so I cant ask him about the specks. Sorry for my tech ignorance but whats the speck on the new-school slots?

Thanks massive, definately 'clunked' in there!

Cheers

I have the same problem with a Intel D940 3.2 Ghz + Abit AW-8 mobo with Intel 955x chipset.
