Am I Crazy? Dump DD-500 for Delverb?

I've had my Boss DD-500 for many years. It's been fantastic to dial in every kind of delay you can imagine, and then some. Great for goofing around making ambient sounds by myself, especially with the looper functionality.

But now that I'm finally playing in a band again, I'm using like ONE preset... maybe two or three at times, but I feel like I'm only using them to use them.

I'm thinking about selling it and getting a Delverb. Part of me just thinks I will use it more, especially since I get the bonus of a bunch of awesome reverbs and my only reverb right now is the one in the Ox Stomp. I also love the simplicity of it. One downside is I will have to buy a separate looper pedal, so this endeavour would actually cost me money since I can only get like $450CAD for the DD-500.

Am I crazy?

I would only do it if you like the ‘sound’ of the Del Verb better.

Agreed. You will also be losing delay subdivisions with the Delverb if you have not considered that. As much as I love the concept and simplicity of the DelVerb, I can't live without tapable dotted delays.
