I've noticed this from time to time for years, but this time again with the latest UAD hotfix:

As soon as a new version is due, my UAD ecosystem starts to behave unusually.
At the moment it's the console (the new update hasn't been installed yet), which simply won't empty its slots when I click on "new".
I've noticed things like this over the years - as soon as a new update was due, but never dared to ask.

Is it just me or is it the same for others?

Boo!

I have not noticed this, although the last few v10 versions made the console app very sluggish for me. But this was all the time, not only when a new update was available :) v11 seems to have fixed this.
I have a friend still on v8 with a FireWire Apollo and all is fine and dandy
