AMD 3138 and 96KHz

Anybody running multiple UAD cards @ 96K on amd-8131 macs? To you find yourself hitting the bus overload wall any faster than @ 44.1?

does a third (or fourth) card help at all?

Technically it helps to have more cards only in that you can process more of the larger plugs, but your number of maximum instances shouldn't change. I max out my 4 UAD's at about 70 instances or so, depending upon the plug. This really doesn't present that much of a problem for me in my sesssions at 44.1K. I get enough DSP out of my UAD's and I'm going to soon move on to a another machine that doesn't have that problem.

how can i actualy find wether i have an amd 8131 Mac ? i have an G5 dual 1.8, i want to buy an uad, but i dont know yet wether my mac is one of those 8131er
