Announcement from Superior ...

Dear Superior users,

In the period following release of EZdrummer a year ago, many of you
have requested MIDI functionality to expand Superior's scope and, as you
may know, after much discussion on how to best achieve this goal we set
ourselves the task to create what can be best described as the Swiss
army knife of drum samplers.

EZplayer Free and its bigger brother EZplayer (to be available in
summer) were thus designed with Superior users in mind first but also with
anyone with more than one drum sampler in their arsenal and specific
needs to convert between various sources of MIDI, complete with their
idiosyncrasies.

This is, quite obviously, an ambitious project. Both versions of
EZplayer mark a new beginning for Toontrack in developing products intended
to enhance the functionality and usefulness of our core sampler lines
and plugs right in your workflow. Rest assured this is only the
beginning.

We are therefore very proud to announce the availability of the much
anticipated EZPlayer Free MIDI bridge. You will find EZplayer Free and
the royalty free MIDI files that comes with it in your regular Superior
download area.

In closing, we would like to thank you all for your loyalty and support
in the 3 years of Superior development. We are currently working very
hard for your patience to be worth the while we reinvent, once again,
the sampler market.

Superior is dead. Long live Superior!

/Toontrack Crew

It means that Superior users now get a free MIDI loop player with royalty-free MIDI loops, like BFD has had since its first release.

...yes...but what about the "Superior Is Dead, Long Live Superior" part?? That is a little un-nerving...

...while we reinvent, once again,
the sampler market.

Must mean something like:
\"We came up with Superior, others followed. Now we've got something A-ZUM around the corner to replace Superior\".

Sort of \"Out with the old in with the new\".

I'm sure it's not a suicide note though! :D
