Anyone using PT7 with UAD-1?

PT LE is not out yet, as far as I know.

And automatic plug-in delay compensation is not implemented, either.

PT7 LE came out Wednesday morning. It's available in the Digistore for download. Is anyone using it with a UAD-1 yet?

This is alarming. What OS are you?

\"Pro Tools HD 7.0 is officially supported on Mac OS X 10.4.2 (Tiger)
Pro Tools HD 7.0 will not run on Mac OS X 10.3 and earlier

After updating either Pro Tools or your Mac OS, always run Disk Utility and \"Repair Permissions\" on the startup drive.\"

I got it to work ..kinda
The 3.8 plugins were duplicating the 4.0 as 4.0 install created it's own folder in the vst folder.Got rid of them and rewrapped the UAD PLUGINS.
Now I have this problem:
I can only have ONE UAD plugin working at a time.
Works on audio, aux and master insert but as soon as I insert a second one I have some white noise coming out of my mix.
The Uad meter registered around 25% so I have plenty of headroom left on the card.
I tried it with different plugins with the same result:precision,plates,fairchild,cambridge..
I also tried to tick on/ off the AMD setting with no differences.
I did not touch the buffer yet.
Any suggestion on the buffer setting?
The cpu and pci meter in PT7 are very low in the 12% range.

I suggest you to full unistall any UAD-1 software and plug-in
and reinstall everything.

then wrapyour plugs-agan.

but, I think it's a wrapper issue because you are using plugs on aux
and master fader and as far as i know this is a new HD feature
isn't it?

I've heard that fxpansion is working on a new wrapper version
optimized for PT7 (with some great features)

What is the PT buffer size as well as the "block buffer size" setting the fxpansion adapter?

I would suggest at least 256 in PT (512 preferably) and 256/512 for the block buffer size in the adapter. The lower buffer size in the adapter is to deal with HD's limited number of samples for delay compensation.

I have definitly experienced the screaming white noise in PT7 LE using the UAD 4.0 plugs.
I'll try those buffering sizes and see..
