Hi all, new to the forum.
My 2015 macbook died recently and unfortunately I cannot use my Apollo 8 Duo from 2016 anymore because it's thunderbolt.
I've been looking online for solutions to plug it to my windows pc but it's a bit confusing.
On my windows PC, I have a motherboard MSI Z390-A PRO which seems to have a thunderbolt plug. As I understand it, I need to buy a PCIe card to connect to it and then connect my audio interface to the card. I'm just a bit confused with thunderbolt 2,3 and 4 and found contradictory information online regarding backward compatibilty.
Has any body managed to make it work ? if so how ?
Many thanks,
Nev
