I have an Apollo 8 and an Apollo x8 that both suddenly started to output different Monitor Output levels between their respective Left and Right Channels. The Apollo 8 is right heavy by about 6dB, and the Apollo x8 is right heavy by about 3dB. Strangely, this issue does not follow to the HP's when MIX is selected as the source. Even stranger, the meters in both console applications, and on the front of both of the units shows no difference between output signal, so it seems like this is happening at the output stage in the physical hardware?
Below are the steps I've taken so far, still early stages but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced something like this before? Also strange that it happened to two units in two different rooms...
Thanks!

Source Material used when testing:
- Using the Apollo as my Mac computer's main Output device,
- Pro Tools session using Apollo Mon L/R as main output,
- Different computer in the same room with default Console Session for the two cases above,
- Mic into an open channel in Console routed to MONITOR, panned hard-center
- I've swapped cables: No change
- I've swapped the connections between the speakers: The hot signal followed the swapped cable placements.
- I've patched the Monitor Outs into channels on my SSL instead of an External Input: Hot signal followed on channels
- I've fiddled with the MON LEVEL settings: The problem follows, only headroom changes
