Apollo autotune vs Logic low latency

Hello,

I’m considering getting an Apollo interface solely to track with autotune with zero latency.

Does anyone have experience of comparing latency when tracking with Autotune through uad Apollo dsp vs through the daw (Logic) with buffer set to 32?

Does a 32 buffer size on an Apple silicon match the zero latency through an Apollo interface’s DSP?

Also, does UAD offer a demo in the real-time advanced plug in as I’d really like to test this as it’s the only reason I’d be interested in the interface. Already subscribed to UAD spark.

Thank you

The buffer size impacts latency, but plugins add their own latency on top of that, and UAD DSP ones add A LOT of latency. It will be noticeable.

With Apollo interfaces you could use LiveTrack mode inside the daw and make autotune run at 64 samples of latency (<1ms I believe). HOWEVER they got rid of this option with the latest update I don't know why
