What’s up guys!
So I’ve had my Apollo Twin Duo USB running on Razer 14 W10 x64 going on 4 years now and have loved it thus far.
Decided to do a little cable clean up last night so I disconnected everything for the first time in a while.
When I plugged the Apollo back in last night via ss3.0 (same cable and port used prior) I got an alert that I must use ss3.0 to connect. Figuring it was just a little bug, I disconnected and reconnected and started getting “Unknown USB Device” alerts. Within the Device Manager, the device shows but as “Device Discriptor Failure”.
I’ve run through your typically troubleshooting and scoured the web for anything I could be missing.
I’ve tried:
-Switching USB Ports
-Switching ss3.0 cables
-Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers for UAD,3.0 Root Hub and 3.0 Extensible
-Hardware Reset using button combo
-Testing on another pc (which also read it as a unknown device)
This leads me to believe it may be a hardware issue.
I’ve put in a ticket with UAD (#808956) but haven’t gotten a response just yet.
I figured I can’t be the only one who has encountered this issue, but the interwebs and forums would say different.
If anyone has any words of advice or has encountered this issue it would be much appreciated cause I feel like the only one in the world!
(Sorry for the long post)
