Apollo Twin X compatibility

I am looking at getting an Apollo Twin X 1st gen. The problem is, my laptop is Windows USB-3.0. Will an Apollo Twin X Thunderbolt work using an adapter..?? If not, will a USB-C to USB 3.0 cable work on the Apollo Twin X USB-C model...?? Thanks, and forgive my ignorance on the subject.

Nope. Unless you have Thunderbolt baked into your Intel notebook, not possible - no adapter will work. For your PC, get a USB Twin instead.

Thanks for the response...!! Would the Twin X USB-C model work with USB 3.0 via a USB-C to USB A cable...?? Thanks!!!

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. The manual makes mention of USB Type A or Type C port in which a certified USB 3 SuperSpeed cable (Type-A to Type-C would work. I think my laptop may comply with this. Thanks!!!
Yes, my bad. I misread your question about USB. Might work for you.

yes. USB to USB will work just fine :)
For instance, a USB-A to USB-C cable works just fine.

Only gotcha on USB-C cables -- make sure 'data' cable and not 'charging' cable. There is difference. Ideally make sure it's a 20gb/sec USB-C premium data cable. These come in USB-A to USB-C. Try to connect to a USB-A 10/gb input on your PC vs 5/gb second connection.
