Apollo Twin X Duo making (physical) crackling/pop noises out of nowhere

Hey guys!

I get that the Apollo Twin X makes pop/ crackling noises when it's turned on or like when it changes bit rates but mine makes those noises like out of nowhere. (For example, I'd be recording guitar parts and it'd crackle or I'd be listening to music on Spotify and it'd suddenly crackle)

Is this normal? (I haven't even had this device for a year)

(I did try reinstalling the UAD apps)

It is not normal.

Be sure to get a ticket open with Support, they'll have things for you to try. Go to help.uaudio.com, click on the blue Support bot and type “create ticket”
