I’m on my 3rd Apollo Twin X in less then a year and I’m hoping to connect with someone at UA about my issue.
A bit about my set up:
What keeps happening is that I will use the Apollo for about a month or so and then all of a sudden the Channel lines in the unit itself have fuzz.
The fuzz in the channels happen even when nothing is plugged in the instrument line or mic lines.
When this first occurred I was told by Sweetwater where I bought the unit that it could be a power supply issue so they sent me a new one.
Less then a month later the issue occurred again and I tried replacing my Thunderbolt cable and investing in a new Power Conditioning unit.
I’m now on my third Apollo Twin X replacement and this evening when I plugged in my AT4047 microphone and switched to Phantom power on the unit the fuzz began again. Thinking back on when the fuzz occurred previously on the other units I’m remembering that the issue occurred when I engaged Phantom power.
I’m sincerely hoping someone can assist.
Attached is a photo of my Apollo Twin X showing the fuzz in the channel line 1 when nothing is plugged in.
