Hoping @DrewMazurek or someone else could answer this....
I'm looking to purchase an Apollo X4 unit and was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade the promotional Sphere Microphone LX to the DLX model. The main reason for getting the new Apollo unit is to record a recently inherited piano that lives in my house (which is too far away from my studio). It would also be handy to have a smaller unit for traveling, etc.... Having the stereo capabilities of the DLX would add a lot of value to me, so I would happily pay the difference in price (around $500 I believe) to include the DLX model over the LX.
I know that the promotional stuff is usually not negotiable, but I thought the worst you guys could say was "no." If I can't upgrade to the DLX, I'll probably get a used model (or might explore a different company), as the Sphere LX doesn't really offer me anything beyond what I already have in my locker.
Thanks for any info you have. - Mustang
