Hello,
I have a maybe dumb question. I run my two Apollos @+24dBu as I have couple of outboard and a summing mixer. Couple of days ago I realized that my monitor controller (Drawmer MC2.1) can handle input max @+21dBu. As far as I understand this could be problem with hot mastered music and in some situation. Or is this a problem in general? Some research turned out that there are controllers capable of handling +24dBu though not many. Do I misunderstand something?
I thought of turning the master output of my Apollo down by 3dB but I don’t know if that is wise regarding resolution or if it really will fix that issue.
thanks for your comments!
