Helpful however just because Luna is compatible with an OS doesn't necessarily mean the OS is solid. Hoping to see if there was anything more insightful by users. Thanks Klong
I tend to stay on the oldest OS version that's supported, but I also have been known to follow the above statement about staying one OS behind the curve. Tends to be much more stable.
I think it kind of comes down to what you're doing -- e.g., big session planned on Sunday, don't update your Mac on Friday. READ UP on problems folks are having with Sonoma 14.4 and wait for 14.4.1 or 14.4.2 right now, for instance. Check all your "must use" apps are up to date and actually work with Sonoma (e.g., Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol last week did not work with Sonoma, I think I mentioned). Check "does it work" guides, like the one Sweetwater tries to keep updated with each new version: https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/macos-sonoma-compatibility-guide/
I'm on sonoma 14.2.1 and it's been ok for me so far.
I've been a bit too busy to really dig into things like I usually do though so that's not to say something ain't broke somewhere and I just haven't noticed yet. But as far as I can tell, it's been ok.
