Hi there, i'm looking to buy a magma chassis, but the owner says it won't work on a g5. I thought they all worked just fine?
I have a G4 right now but one day i'll have a G5 or an intel mac or whatever, and i want the chassis to last as long as it can!
Thanks
PS - Oh, while i'm at it i may as well ask how much i can put thought a magma chassis. Inside my Mac i will have the magma chassis card in one slot, a gigabit ethernet card (for logic 7 distributed stuff) in another PCI slot. The other pci slot is left free.
Then inside the magma chassis, i I'd want to up to 3 UAD's (jsut the 1 initially), a 5 port USB2 card (with whatever plugged into it, not HD's though), a an ATA100 or even a SATA pci card with maybe a HD or two in there. will this be too much for the PCI bus to handle?
if it helps i have a sawtooth agp (100mhz bus), G4 1.4ghz, motu 828 mk2, 1.5gb ram, radeon 9800 pro 128mb...
Thanks guys
