Hi All,
I chimed in on a LUNA 15.5 thread because I noticed that recently MIDI tracks are not getting low latency in LUNA.
I reset preferences, reinstalled UAD software and it finally seemed to resolve after a full system restart.
That was yesterday .. but today its back .. in the same session where it resolved yesterday.
So I downloaded 15.3 and the issue was still there .. so its not an issue with version 15.5 as far as I can see. There was a comment from Drew that ARM issues would not be LUNA, more likely UAD software. (I freshly reinstalled the latest yesterday)
So I created a brand new LUNA session and I have observed the following
1. Just having a single track for Ravel piano the midi latency is clearly low-latency with ARM on and a little bit more with ARM off
2. If I add a UAD plugin on a send and select it for ARM .. the effect does not work and the midi signal just gets louder as its passing through the send bus but without the reverb
3. If I turn ARM off now I can hear the reverb (with the latency acting as a kind of pre-delay)
I tested in Logic (been a good while since I used it as I only use LUNA now) and there were no latency issues or effect send routing issues.
I was wondering is there some diagnostics I can do on my Apollos? How does ARM actually work and what data can I gather to post here for further assistance.
EDIT: Support ticket 829730 raised
