Audio quality for listening

Hi Volks, i am a pc User and need a New soundcard, (I use apollo quad on the macbook) my Old one is a Steinberg UR44.
Hiw is the Sound compared to the UR44, is it bester, the same or worse?

I’m not sure as I haven’t owned them,… There are differences but most likely negligible.

To be honest, the Steinberg UR44’s are fine. Sure there is better. The Twin X may be better, but a X6 would be much better, relatively. But more important,.. what improvement are you looking for?

Audio quality on the way in? line out? monitoring? I may have not got the answers, but I do have the questions for you

To my ears (and they ain't bad for my age) They all basically sound the same. I've gone through allot in the last year and a half (Volt 2, SSL 2, Apollo solo, Babyface pro, long story why so many) and the only thing that is different to me is latency and the interface.

The best thing about the Volt is that it just works. If you don't need all the extra stuff, it's plug and play and never lets me down. It just works. And it's great being frill-free. So easy to use.....
