Maybe it's just me, but I can't figure out how to hear the songs. All I see is the 'Million Dollar' video.

My feedback? I'm all for minimalism. But us old guys like to see a straightforward menu.

Strange the musicclips should start at once. hmm
Otherwise you have a normal Cd panel at the bottom wuth Play, pause, stop buttons. try stop first and then play.

You are the first one having problems hearing music.
Its just falsh sound so its no strange protocollor such.

IF you go to the video page at once the normal music will stop, so you dont have 2 sounds playing at the same time.

Call me stupid, but I didn't get that. I thought those controlled the video. I guess I was expecting a menu that said

'Songs'
1. Million Dollar
2 ...etc...

Well.... The styles aren't my bag, but I gotta admit the mixes sound -huge-. I was thinking as I listened how puny my stuff sounds by comparison.

So what's the secret? :wink:

Odly I would say compression.
I compress every indiviual track to taste. I want to tame those
transients. So when I mixed I dont have any sudden spikes.

Then like in the oldschool I like to hear every detail.
I know I do not take any real chances with my mixes and so..
I am a fan of david Foster and Chicago
So i'm a bit conservative, but starting to learn new stuff.

Then I do an overal compression with la2A OR Tracks.

Another thing is I like to do a \"collage\" of sounds. Small fill ins where the singer is quite and so.
I also do alot of \"volumeriding\", automating it i cubase.

But hey what do I know?
I just try to tweak the mix so it sounds good in my stereo and car.

and know I remeber, I aslo do alot of cutting of clashing freqs so they dont steal space from each other.
