When it comes to things like this, you have to ask yourself, "Am I the kind of person that's willing to spend an arm and a leg for 1-2% of subjective improvement?"

I don't know if I am anymore. hmmm..
I'd see if you could find a place to demo the BigBen. The BigBen might be a good idea, after owning 2 or 3 separate converts or if you have other devices that need syncing. It is a syncing device and not one made to directly improve your sound, as some salesmen might make it out to be.

The clock inside the Aurora is what you will want to use. With the quality of Lynx products, there is no need for an external clock. Maybe just a distributor if you need to sync more stuff.

And if you are using the AES-16, use the "digital in 1" as word clock source in your asio setup and set word clock as "internal" in your aurora mixer.

If you were considering lesser converters, I would say that the external clock would improve the sound... but you're getting a Lynx, so no worries.

Spend the money on this instead: http://www.jrrshop.com/product_info.php?products_id=6325

Thanks for the tip I appreciate it. Could I achieve that same effect by running my signal through my multi-track?
Thanks very much
