Boncing format 16bit/44.1K or 24bit/48K ?

Hi,

What is the best way go get final mix in Logic recorded at 24bit /48K to Audio CD? Should I bounce my final mix to 16bit/44.1k format? Do you loose some of the top end when you convert from 48K to 44.1K? Or should I bounce it at 24bit /48K and let Toast do the conversion?
