Boss CE-1 vs Guitar Rig

Hi! I`m curious about the CE-1 but i have the \"you can`t run any timed demos\" bug so i can`t demo it right now. I see that Guitar Rig has a plugin called \"Ensemble\" that seems to be another emulation of it. Has anybody compared these 2? Is there any point in buying the UA version if you already have Guitar Rig?

i think the UAD CE-1 sounds great on guitar if your going for that type of sound effect. when compared to Guitar Rig, there in the same ballpark and wont make much of a difference if its a background type part, however if its a lead solo or something up front in the mix the UAD shines through much better and captures more of the nuances of the classic roland pedal.

Phew! Glad you clarified that! Because I've been checking out the CE-1 on basses and it sounds great. Especially on fretless type sounds.
