Boss CE1 as send effect

Hey....

hope you could tell me if the CE1 can be used as an send effect. The manual told that the classic mode keeps the original signal at the left side and the chorus signal at the right side...

if i now put the chorus intensity at full.....and send a channel via an auxbus to the CE1 will the left side only be louder??? Is that normal for an chorus??

every fx plugin that I've ever used works just find as a send.

well bear in mind that the CE-1 is originally a stomp box, meaning it is supposed to be inserted in a signal chain.

A -> CE-1 -> B

thus the classic mode allows you to mix in your original signal with the wet one.
i'd run it in dual mode if used as a send effect.
long story short: insert=classic OR dual. send=dual.
