Bought a used UAD-1...

...and the seller indicates that it will come with the 1176 and LA2A plugs.

I already own an older Mackie UAD-1 as well the 1176 and LA2A plugs.

Do I need to have him transfer the two plugs to me at UA or will they work on the newly purchased UAD using my existing authorizations?

It should 'just-work'. When you add new cards, everything you have purchased for the other card will work on all new cards too (as long as they are installed in the same system) without any need to do anything to make it work... it just works.

You really should log-in to your my.uaudio.com account so that you can better understand and manage your plug-in licenses. It truly is the best plug-in license, purchase, and management web based system I've seen! :)
