buying a used uad-1 card

are there any pitfalls with buying a used uad-1 card as opposed to a new one, especially seeing as i have only pci-x slots with the amd problem?

All My UAD's were used and never an issue. But my plugins were new. LOL.

I am probably the king of buying used hardware although a slave to buying NEW software. is that like a new cylindar head on a used block???? hmmmmm...

do i need to ensure that the licences for he software are transferred over?

A phone call will do as the authorizations are linked to the cards....

so a simple phone call from the seller and the Buyer to UA and all should be just fine (at least it was in both of my card transfers)
