Can I borrow a UAD from a friend?

I have a friend coming to visit who also has a pair of UAD cards. I've got room in my magma for him to bring the cards while we work on a project together. Is it a hassle of transferring ownership or will my plugs work with his cards added to the two I already have in my system?

They'll work fine but none of your purchased plugs will be authorized to work on them so only the original plugs that came with the cards at time of original purchase will load on them.
