Can I mix and match Apollo 8p, 8, Twin with Apollo x6?

Hi,

I have been an avid Apollo user for years, but am curious if my current thunderbolt 8p, 8, Twin and Satallite can be ran with an additional x6 in the system?

obviously the thunderbolt in the x6 is TB3, so if an adaptor is used to go from TB3 to TB2 into my other units, will this work? are there any other incompatibility issues I should be aware of?

TIA

Scott.

I don't think there are any incompatibilities in such a system.
You can add on up to six units in total.
Just one Twin in the chain - because it doesn't have two thunderbolt connectors.

I have an Aplollo 8p (mkII/blackface), Twin mkII and x6 all working perfectly together...

Thanks, So you use TB3 to TB2 converter to link x6 to the rest? Any particular one?
apple connectors cost more, but they work.

Yeah, I think to avoid issues it's the safest to use Apple's TB2-TB3 adapter...
My x6 is connected to my Mac Studio via TB3 then the x6 and 8p are connected using the adapter...
