… the answer is either yes, or no, depending on whether you have DSP capable hardware registered to the account. How hard is it to try it for yourself?

I don't have uad hardware, yet, but am in the process of buying. And wanted to take advantage of the sale. No need to be condescending

Then provide details in your post. Either way you could find out, all you got is the wrong answer (just ahead of mine) by not doing so.

You cannot buy DSP plugins until there's a unit registered in your system for the license to attach to.

Well, how would you find out, if it's not written anywhere on the web page? That's the point of asking on the forum, surely. I don't know what your problem is,the rudeness is unnecessary.

The ability to add non-native plugins to a software bundle depends on the specific software and its architecture. Generally, a plugin system allows developers to extend or enhance the functionality of a software application by adding plugins or modules. Here are some considerations:

  1. Plugin System Support:
    • Verify if the software you're working with supports a plugin system. Not all software is designed with a plugin architecture that allows external plugins to be added.
    • Check the documentation or developer resources for information on how to develop and integrate plugins.
  2. Plugin Compatibility:
    • Ensure that the non-native plugins are compatible with the version of the software you are using. Sometimes, plugins need to be updated or modified to work with different versions.
  3. Development Environment:
    • If the software provides a development environment or SDK (Software Development Kit), you may use it to create or integrate non-native plugins.
    • Some software platforms have specific APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that developers can use to extend functionality.
  4. Security Considerations:
    • Be cautious about adding non-native plugins, especially if they are from unofficial or untrusted sources. Security vulnerabilities could arise from poorly designed or malicious plugins.
  5. Community or Marketplace:
    • Check if there is a community or marketplace associated with the software where developers share and distribute plugins. This can be a good source for finding plugins that are compatible with the software.
  6. Customization Options:
    • Some software may allow you to customize or extend functionality without a full plugin system. In such cases, you might be able to modify the software directly.
It's important to note that the process of adding non-native plugins can vary widely depending on the specific software. Always refer to the official documentation and follow recommended practices provided by the software's developers.
