Can't See UAD Plugins in DP 4.5

I have a Dual 2.0 G5 Running OS 10.3.6. Installed new 3.6 UAD-1 plugins but I don't see them listed when I try to access the effects. What am I doing wrong?

I am wondering if I have not dropped the UAD files in the proper folders for DP 4.5 to be able to read. Can you confirm which directories I need to have the files in so DP will read?

Did you use install UAD Driver ?? it should be automaticlly installed...

and make sure you UAD driver is correct ..

U need to use AU format under DP ....

Check your Library -> Audio -> Plugins -> Components

If you see the UAD plugins, then find the AudioUnitsinfoCache file and delete it

User -> Library -> Preferences -> Digital Performer

I see the plugins now. Thanks for the info. Just one more question? Each time I launch DP it examines all the AU files. The message says this will only happen the first time. But, this happens everytime I launch DP. Takes quite a bit of time. Any suggestions?

verify the permissions on the cache file after you run DP. Could be a permission issue
