Cards suddenly disappeard from UA System Info

My two UAD Cards (installed on a G5 dual1.8 ) that worked very well disappeard suddenly. When I open Logic 7.2, the window shows up that usually tells you that some of the plugs are not running because of an overload...
Then another window shows up saying that the cards are not there..

Earlier today I installed Logic 7.2. I work on a G5 but I just bought a Mac Book for mobile applications, there I needed 7.2 for the Intelchip, to be able to open what I did on the PowerBook I installed 7.2 on the G5 as well. Logic says that it cannot open iControll by the way... whatever iControll means, probably not connected to my mess here.
Hell. Who knows whats going on here?

thanks,

iControl is a control surface from M-audio... so check Preferences/Control-Surfaces.
(maybe it´s installed somehow).

I had same UAD issues some months ago on my G4 under OSX Tiger.
Repair drive and permissions from Tiger-install-CD (boot), than deinstall the UAD Software. Reboot, install UAD-1.

That solved my problems... don´t know which steps did it, but works
