Hello all expert colleagues,
I am very new to technology, recently started working in music creativity.
My concern is I purchased USB apollo twin PC version and Now I realise, I need more channels preferably 4 or 6 additional channel
I just read I can extend the channels:
What are the requirements and recommended additional Interface and other accessories required.
Kindly help!

Mush appreciated in advance!

The Twin has ADAT In, so you can add up to 8 extra inputs via an optical cable.

I'd recommend the Behringer ADA8200 on the cheaper end, or the Audient ASP880 for better sound and features. I've owned both and gotten great results with them

ADAT expansion is a great economical choice, but be aware that route does not give you access to the Apollo's Unison technology. If you want that, you will need to go with a rackmount Apollo for expansion.

Please also note that there will be a few milliseconds offset between the Apollo and ADAT channels, if you record with the Apollo and the Adat at the same time. This can be a point to bear in mind when making multi-microphone recordings of drums.

If you want to connect external hardware, an ASP is ideal. But then I would order a DB25 cable at the same time.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but I've never experienced this to an extent that it' audibly noticeable

Correct, all converters have their own unique timings. Our driver cannot know this of course.

So it needs to be measured and possibly corrected for. Maybe not. years ago I used a Presonus 8 channel pre and it added 46 or 47 samples of delay.

BTW, this is true whenever you mix and match A/D from different companies in any ecosystem.

To put a finer point on the above.......

If you span phase coherent material across these converters, it's BAD news. If not, 46 samples hardly matters.
